MEMBER HIGHLIGHT: WINGS OF HOPE FOR PANCREATIC CANCER RESEARCH

Maureen Shul founded WINGS OF HOPE FOR PANCREATIC CANCER RESEARCH in 2012 in Colorado after losing her brother and mother to pancreatic cancer within months of each other. FOR YOUR REVIEW: WPCC KEY MESSAGES

As part of strategic planning, the WPCC Steering Committee has created key messages for Coalition members' review. The key messages are evidence-based and are meant to create consistency in all our communications – from language on the WPCC website to social media, presentations and more. The Steering Committee welcomes feedback about these messages from all members – please email Jenny Isaacson (jisaacson@pancan.org) by Friday, Nov. 8. We will re-share these key messages after we have received your feedback. Thank you!

WPCD 2018 CAMPAIGN WINS AWARDS!

The LA PRism Award is a local Los Angeles awards program that recognizes excellence in strategic PR campaigns. The "WPCD 2018: Demand Better" campaign was named a finalist for the two categories we entered – Global Communications and Events & Observances, Not-for-Profit. At the awards ceremony last night, we received top honors, winning PRism Awards in both categories. A huge thank you to everyone for participating in the campaign and to Hill+Knowlton Strategies for their wonderful work and partnership!
